Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:


Responsible for all financial transactions and reporting for MedTrans. This includes the analysis and administration of all vendor invoices, maintenance of the MedTrans billing database, development and distribution of key management reports including Key Performance Indicators, as well as creating PO's for maintenance requests. This position also manages the fuel program, cell phone program, supply ordering, and MedTrans branch administrative program.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and analyze existing management report variances to the Area VP of MedTrans.
  • Administer the proper coding and payment of all vendor invoices insuring accurate financial reports as well as the Driver Bonus Program.
  • Develop, analyze, and distribute KPI's and reports inclusive of variances to the MedTrans field team.
  • Ensure the MedTrans billing database is properly maintained.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the department to include MedTrans administrative work done in the field locations, streamlining financial reporting and analysis, and payroll processes.
  • Manage various MedTrans programs financial impacts including MedTrans uniform program, fuel program, cell phone program, supply ordering, and MedTrans branch administrative program.
  • Management responsibilities include:
    • Typically oversees professional employees/teams OR typically manages non-professional employees through Supervisors in manufacturing, distribution or office environments
    • Day-to-day operations of a group of employees.
    • May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact;
    • Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops.
    • Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.
    • Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.
    • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Relevant Work Experience
  • 5 years of experience in financial transactions, cost center and general ledger postings, and/or financial reporting for a small to medium sized company with approximately $125M in annual revenue.
  • Knowledge and use of financial reporting systems.

Additional
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Tableau, Webfocus, Insight or similar reporting software
