RMS is seeking reliable, motivated and team-oriented individuals to join our Warehouse Team. This position is within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Laurens, SC. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for growth.



Essential Job Duties



  • Operate cherry picker/standup forklift for material handling.

  • Collect and stage orders to be shipped.

  • Perform general warehouse responsibilities such as maintaining cleanliness and organization of shelving, pallet area and work stations; sweep and/or mop floors.

  • Maintain high standards of safety throughout operations.

  • Assist other Team Members with day-to-day operations as needed and directed.

  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

  • Comply with established policies and procedures.

Picking Responsibilities
The picking functions include, but are not limited to, using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Team Members must efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas. Team Members will stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as determined by client requirements.



Quality Control Responsibilities
The quality control functions include, but are not limited to, using the appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly. Team Members will verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies. Team Members will stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products.



Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance
Team Members are responsible for executing all safety protocols and will accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
Team Members are responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and are required to maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in security of the warehouse.
Team Members will comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.



Equipment Operation
In performing assigned duties, the equipment used can include, but is not limited to, a pallet jack.
Team Members are responsible for the upkeep of equipment and reporting of equipment problems.
Team Members will operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner and follow prescribed work methods.



Maintenance
Perform or assist in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Job Requirements



  • One (1) year experience in Warehouse Material Handling.

  • One (1) to two (2) years experience operating a cherry picker/stand-up forklift.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse work instructions, safety, and housekeeping procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to lift, move, and transport up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to withstand heights.

  • Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods or for duration of shift (12 hour shifts).

  • Ability to work variable day/night, 12 hour shifts, as applicable.

  • Ability to work an assigned overtime shift.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds and levels of management.

  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude towards Team Members and customers.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and/or under stressful situations.

  • Ability to proactively problem solve.

Applicants Must



  • Have reliable transportation.

  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Be at least 18 years old at time of application.

  • Be willing to submit to a background check and urinalysis drug screen (upon offer of employment).

Additional Requirement



  • Current cherry picker/stand-up forklift certification.

Education Requirement



  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Compensation



  • Hourly (paid weekly via Direct Deposit).

  • Overtime opportunities (overtime pay is equal to 1.5 times the Team Member's regular hourly rate of pay, for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek).
