Responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Develops complex program models to extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participates in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS and/or MicroStrategy experience preferred; 2-5 years experience preferred.

The Client Protection Organization is searching for a smart, energetic and motivated individual to add to our Fraud Strategy and Rule Performance team. This role is responsible for several key elements of our fraud strategy:

+ Support implementation of fraud rule adds, deletes, and edits ensuring all procedures and audit requirements are followed. Associate will understand the logic being adjusted and why the change is being made. Ensuring 100% execution accuracy.

+ Assist with developing and supporting fraud rule performance management tracking. Objectives will include establishing consistent standards for key fraud metrics such as hit rate, false positive rate, ROI and run regular reports to gather the same.

+ Routinely meet with strategies teammates to provide feedback on rule performance and trends.

+ Ensure rules are developed in a fashion that maximizes the capabilities of our decisioning platforms. Will thus require developing a deep understanding of the platforms themselves and their features and limitations.

Required Skills:"Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified.

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, business or finance. Graduate degree is a plus.

+ Must have 2+ years total professional experience in fraud or risk based field.

+ Candidate should have strong experience with analytics, including strategy development and reporting

+ Knowledge of SAS/SQL is required.

+ Must have exceptional influencing, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Desired Skills:

+ Python is strongly recommended and should be learned in first 6 months of hire if not a current skill

+ Should also have a basic knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau

*Role may be filled as an Analyst II or Analyst III depending on skill set
