The NVIDIA Autonomous Driving team is developing leading-edge software for self-driving cars on NVIDIA's high-performance DRIVE PXTM platform. We focus on building learning machines that can derive practical skills from large amounts of diverse data. We believe that neural networks trained with such data will play a crucial role in the development of autonomous driving.

What you'll be doing:

Working with enthusiastic and dedicated people at the forefront of science and technology is one of the great things you will love when you join this team. Your work may have a huge impact in cars worldwide. You will be innovating algorithms, tools, system design, and processes. As a member of our group, it is our desire that you be hands-on and passionate about crafting practical results, spending as much time in the field as in the lab. Our main goal is to build product that really works well for autonomous driving. In addition to deep learning, a substantial part of the work are going to be doing is getting the car moving, working with sensors, modelling vehicle dynamics and other activities - so you will have the chance to make important contributions towards these efforts. Although our group is not in a scientific research environment, nor is deep learning our sole activity, publications may be a natural outcome from your work. However the driving force and the real measure of your success and the success of the team is building solutions that achieve widespread use. The work you will do has a wide impact, is fun, and very challenging!

You will work on machine learning oriented simulation task, working against 3D game engines, building data processing workflows, integrating simulation dataflow with machine learning targets. You need to have enthusiasm for both computer graphics and computer vision domain, and corresponding multiple discipline engineering ability.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in C/C++, Python, CUDA
  • Fluent in graphics domain, OpenGL shaders, Unreal Engine development experience will be bonus
  • Experience with database, SQL, MongoDB, docker

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Knowledge set of computer vision(classification, segmentation), Machine Learning (RCNN-Series, YOLO) practice will be bonus
  • Standalone project experience with 10k+ lines code, Game, graphics or vision related will be bonus
  • Big data related distribution system knowledge will be bonus.
  • Autonomous car and robot. Related experience will be bonus.
