**Job Description:**



Bank of Americas Consumer, Small Business & Wealth Management Operations and Global Delivery Center of Expertise organization operates in six countries with over 44,000 teammates. Comprised of operations functions for Consumer Banking, Mortgage Servicing and Global Wealth and Investment Management Services.



Abandoned Property is responsible for ensuring Merrill Lynch is in compliance with 53 individual U.S. State and Territory laws when identifying and escheating unclaimed assets. Merrill Lynch Abandoned Property supports abandoned property for the legal entities Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith, BofA ML Securities Inc., Merrill Lynch Professional Clearing Corporation (ML Pro), and Financial Data Services. Merrill Lynch Abandoned Property also supports the custody of U.S. Trust Abandoned Property and submission of property to the BANA Central Escheatment Team.



The teammate in this role is responsible for performing job functions related to Escheatment regulatory reporting - this involves compiling necessary data elements for the escheatment regulatory reporting, consolidating assets to be escheated into state omnibus accounts, managing the custody of escheatment omnibus accounts, interacting with Merrill Lynch Lines of Business through email and phone in support of the Escheatment Team, and covering the Abandoned Property Client Contact Center phone line during times of high volume.



Responsibilities Include:



+ Monitoring volumes (phones and processing) to guarantee service level agreements and deadlines are met

+ Performing various quality assurance reviews to confirm all processes have been completed and performed correctly, ensuring compliance with PRC & EPO requirements.

+ Collecting and compiling statistics for reporting to management

+ Communicating (written and verbal) with various branch offices, clients, and/or State representatives

+ Providing coaching and feedback to entry-level and senior teammates

+ Performing teammate call reviews and supporting client escalations as needed

+ Periodically reviewing, updating, and drafting procedures to ensure all processes are appropriately captured

+ Facilitating and assisting with training of entry-level teammates

+ Through this position, the teammate will expand their knowledge of fundamental concepts and proprietary program skills necessary in excelling in a career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch



Required Skills:

+ Ability to work an 8 hour shift between 8:00am and 5:00pm Eastern, Monday through Friday

+ Must have previous experience supporting Abandoned/Unclaimed Property and Escheatment, Merrill Lynch Lines of Business/Clients, or Compliance, EPO, and Risk/Control.

+ Experience with complex spreadsheets, including familiarity with formulas, macros, formatting, and data manipulation
