Head Student Program Leader (Summer Employment)

The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Head Student Program Leader (Summer Employment).

Applications will be accepted until 3/23/2018.

Family Volunteer Camp is a program offered by the Notre Dame Alumni Association. Alumni and children from around the country return to campus for a 5 day/night program focused on community service. The camp has several goals: 1) To cultivate a habit of service within family life; 2) To expose participants to a variety of non-profit agencies serving impoverished and vulnerable peoples; 3) To assist participants in learning more about the root causes of poverty and responses they can enact in their own communities; and 4) To strengthen the communal and spiritual life of Notre Dame alumni and their families as an extension of the mission of the University.

Families spend approximately 5 hours a day engaged in community service in the Michiana area. Previous partners include the Center for the Homeless, Hope Ministries, the City of South Bend Parks Department, the YWCA, and Unity Gardens. Additionally, families participate in community-building activities, prayer, and learning while enjoying the unique amenities of campus.
