Responsible for generalist HR duties including: employee relations, coaching managers and employees and business requests (customer required programs, headcount reports etc). Will assist the Director of Human Resources with preparation of corporate and field reports, consulting with employees on HR issues, and special projects as needed.

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for Employee Relations and Manager Interface for the needs of the Company.

  • Participate in on-boarding to ensure consistent new hire experience.

  • Coordinate with L&D to address organization development needs and facilitate any one on one or custom needs as determined or discussed by Dept Manager.

  • Participate in EH&S and Fleet incident investigation and fact gathering to support a recommendation on corrective or disciplinary action to be taken, if any.

  • Participate in talent acquisition process as needed, including job profile development and candidate assessment

  • Maintain headcount reports for the various functions. Provide managers with employee information as required.

  • Evaluate, organize and maintain the customer required programs for employees site access and service delivery

  • Support positive and proactive employee relations programs, maintain good communications and working relationships with employees and managers.

  • Conduct Ethics Investigations as necessary and maintain all needed documents and records

  • Assist managers and Comp Dept with wage analysis and recommendations for promotions and transfers promotional letters and merit plan documentation.

  • Work with managers on performance management with regards to employee issues.

  • Assist in EEO reporting /AAP programs development as needed

  • Four-year degree and three years of experience in human resources, or equivalent practical experience required.

  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook.

  • Should have a thorough understanding of human resources principles.

  • Required work in an office environment, including extensive computer and telephone use.

  • Must be able to clearly communicate with employees and applicants, both verbally and in writing to present a favorable image of the company.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
