Main purpose of the role:

Cantor Fitzgerald Europe is seeking an HR Administrator for our Europe Human Resources team. The role involves the management of HR processes, particularly dealing with leavers and joiners' administration, as well as the analysis and reporting of information and compensation across all divisions within the European region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HRIS administration - monthly and ad hoc reporting, development planning, training, data collection & analysis, maintaining data integrity
  • Develop and maintain weekly/monthly/semi-monthly reports and ad-hoc reporting requests; working closely with HR team
  • Administration of Europe compensation programs, with peak time during the annual compensation review process for staff
  • Assist in the administration of equity-based compensation programs
  • Restricted stock/equity administration - including the granting and approvals process of equity awards, data integrity, vesting schedules, exercise of options, and employee communications
  • Perform frequent reconciliation exercises and reporting of outstanding equity
  • Respond to audit requests, ensure SOX compliance
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with the Global HR and Global Compensation teams effectively and communicate comfortably
  • Coordinate, along with Compliance, the delivery of mandatory training and policy / status attestation using the Thompson Reuters Complinet system
  • Support Compliance and line management as appropriate in following up incomplete training / attestations and coordinate the HR last line of follow up
  • Any projects as assigned
  • The qualified candidate must be able to work effectively and independently in a fast paced, entrepreneurial organization. He/she will be expected to resolve day-to-day issues in a time sensitive manner
  • Staff changes: update internal spreadsheets including and inform Private Medical Insurance, Dental, Pension etc
  • Management Information Systems - maintaining employee records.
  • Note taking in employee relations meetings
  • Assist with processing employee leavers and joiners - offer letters, reference checks, first day instructions, first day process, new employee files, maintenance of joiners' reporting, joiners notifications, maternity & paternity requests
  • To be alert to Conduct Risk issues, specifically the risk of harm to client interests, market integrity and/or competition in financial markets due to inappropriate practices or behaviours across the firm

Skills / competencies required:

  • Proof of previous relevant work experience - financial services firm preferable
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Self Starter-must be able to work on his/her own with little direction
  • Able to understand concepts quickly and apply them

Personal attributes:

The qualified candidate must be able to work effectively and independently in a fast paced, entrepreneurial organization. He/she will be expected to resolve day-to-day issues in a time sensitive manner.

He or she must be able to multi-task and effortlessly work on various projects at the same time during peak season, and be able to identify important projects during low season. Candidate must have excellent oral as well as listening skills and be able to anticipate client needs.
