The Human Resources group is a multi-disciplined team that ensures Perspecta is positioned for long-term success by focusing on the company's most important asset its people. Areas of responsibility include benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, analytics, learning and development, and management. Services are delivered and supported through a partnership with each business group.


The Human Resources Generalist is a trusted consultant and partner to managers and employees. The HR Generalist proactively consults with managers and employees on a broad range of HR services, as well as designs, administers and implements HR plans, policies and procedures throughout the employee lifecycle. The HR Generalist supports and delivers customized and practical HR solutions to challenges across a range of HR functions including talent management (workforce planning, retention, succession planning), organization design and effectiveness, engagement and culture, diversity and compensation.

This role will include a strong focus on supporting the off-boarding and exit process for voluntary and involuntary terminations, including assisting with release of claims documentation and employee notification letters, exit interview process and data analytics. The role will also support accommodation requests, employee relations needs, provide data analysis on trends, proactively make recommendations on how to make organizational improvements, and help resolve challenges.

HR Partnership: Builds strong relationships across the organization, including effective engagement, partnership and collaboration with HR and other functional teams. Supports appropriate compliance and risk management based on internal policies and practices. Works on projects as needed.

Consulting: Supports managers and employees with human resources related activities, issues and actions throughout the employee lifecycle. Coaches managers and employees to enhance their abilities, driving for a highly engaged workforce, cultivating cross-functional relationships, building bench strength at all levels. Strong business acumen to ensure solutions address business needs. Analyzes data and uses data effectively to drive business decisions.

Talent Management: In partnership with our business-aligned Talent Management team, support talent management strategies and processes to develop world-class talent

Culture and Change Management: Supports performance management and reward strategies to drive and reinforce a culture of high performance and innovation with and across the business groups. Supports managers and employees with performance management needs, organizational changes and addressing employee relations issues.

Employee Engagement: Support and implement employee engagement initiatives, programs and practices that elevate and sustain high levels of employee engagement

  • Requires at least 6 to 8 years of experience with high school diploma or 0 to 2 years with BS/BA
  • Human resources experience including with preparation of Separation Agreements and ADA.
  • Experience with federal contracting industry and project management, preferred
  • Strong skills using Microsoft office including Excel (Pivot tables, V Lookups and fomulas) and other HR software tools including
  • Able to travel up to 10%
