Industrial Products Operator-C Shift

  • Correctly identify and build molds according to casting schedule.
  • Assist in building loads for carbonization kilns.
  • Assist in breaking down carbonization kiln loads.
  • Clean infiltrated product, using the grit-blasting machines, per procedure.
  • Maintain grit-blasting machines with basic preventive and routine maintenance (daily).
  • Follow standard work procedures and detailed work instructions.
  • Assist in preparing and breaking down of furnace loads.
  • Prioritize in a multi-task work cell.
  • Maintain accurate written documentation.
  • Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment.
  • Address all safety related issues immediately by informing the appropriate individual(s).
  • Comply with PPE requirements at all times.
  • Complete all other duties, as assigned.

    • High School diploma/GED required.
    • Previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to read and write using the English language (i.e., proven elementary reading and writing skills).
    • Demonstrated ability to converse and comprehend using the English language.
    • Basic proficiency in data entry required.
    • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
    • Able to get along well with others.


      • Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds, repeatedly.
      • Able to sit, stand, bend, squat, and walk about the facility.
      • Ability to work productively in an environment with a wide range of temperatures.
      • Able to walk/stand a minimum of eight (8) hours per day.

      Safety Requirements

      All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and II-VI Corporate EHS standards.
