Responsibilities

ACF2/RACF Position

The Information Security/Privacy Analysis will be responsible for ACF2/RACF security administration Virtual Data Center (VDC). This position will report functionally to the VDC System Security Officer (SSO).

  • Strong Security knowledge of DISA STIG, NIST, FISMA, and other Federal Regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of ACF2 and RACF security.
  • Strong working knowledge of z/OS utilities and facilities (such as: ISPF, TSO, SDSF, JES)
  • Strong working knowledge mainframe batch and reporting languages (such as: JCL, REXX, CLIST, ISPF)
  • Knowledge of Vanguard Security tools.

Once all interested candidates have responded and been evaluated, the leadership team will provide input on candidate selection to minimize any impact on a specific area.

POSITION DETAIL:

Information Security/Privacy Analysis responsibilities, within the Infrastructure organization, include the following:

  • Provides information security support to Perspecta and USPS clients.
  • Knowledge of access control mechanisms within the security software for ACF2 and RACF.
  • Enforces process controls by analyzing, evaluating and validating changes to ensure accuracy and completeness from a security perspective.
  • Creates, suspends, reactivates, and deletes logon-ids for the security software system.
  • Working knowledge regarding client specific tools, i.e. Network Access Control Online System (NACOS), Resource Administrator Access System (RAAS) and the Individuals Authorized Access to the Computer Services (IACS) tool.
  • Submits requests for dataset and resource access.
  • Provides logon-ids and passwords to new users.
  • Submits requests for access to Customer Information Control System (CICS) transactions for applications on the mainframe.
  • Supports the account transitions to ensure that all mainframe application security and logon ID requests are completed in accordance to the requirements to ensure implementation and transition schedules are met.
  • Supports security production jobs that generate and NDM the security reports to the clients
  • Provides security support, such as account and access control administration, security reports, and security violation monitoring by creating Vanguard Security Reporting for RACF and raw SMF data reporting for ACF2.
  • Provides monthly security report for active/inactive logon-ids and their connect group.
  • Perform Problem solving for various questions/problems pertaining to ACF2/RACF database.
  • Working knowledge of change management tools (i.e Remedy, HPSM, Service Now, Rational, etc.)
  • Advance working knowledge with the implementation and support of digital certificates on the mainframe.
  • Provides setup for requested users; supports re-certification notification of active IDs
  • Monitors DISA STIG for the Government environment, run analyzer reports to supply the support teams with compliance issues, provide quarterly updates
  • Participates in annual MF audit reviews, providing documents and evidence as requested
  • Provides data for a periodic review of access that has been granted at least on a quarterly basis
  • Performs recertification required by client, including user ID and elevated access recertification.
  • Provides 24x7 on call support
