Primary job duties include performing the following tasks in the context of international tax:

  • Assist tax leadership in quantifying the financial impacts of tax laws and business initiatives by developing and maintaining complex models
  • Research, document, and provide recommendations on various tax issues
  • Support international tax and transfer pricing audits by analyzing data and drafting responses
  • Efficiently manage multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Proactively develop and manage milestones and communication plans for long-term projects
  • Act as the primary tax department contact for international tax compliance matters, including regular communication with regional accounting teams and outside service providers in multiple countries, coordination of foreign income tax return compliance with accounting and legal teams, and final review of returns
  • Improve and develop processes where needed

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of corporate income tax experience with at least 3 years of international tax focus
  • University Degree in Accounting / Taxation or equivalent
  • Knowledge of cross-border income taxation laws
  • Knowledge of accounting for income taxes under US GAAP, IFRS, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of transactional taxes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secondary University Degree in Tax or Law Degree desirable
  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent preferred
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
  • Strong inter-personal and project management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle financial applications helpful
