Investor Relations Senior Analyst

**Position Overview:**

The Investor Relations team is responsible for providing timely and accurate information to the investment community. The team manages daily contact for analysts and investors, and is responsible for implementing a comprehensive investor relations program designed to improve the companys stock valuation. Located in Charlotte, NC, this is a high impact role that will support the Investor Relations team in management of internal and external investor relations activities and allow the analyst to learn how BACs equity investors view the company and banking industry. The successful candidate will be an intellectually curious self-starter that is highly skilled in more complex financial analytics and relationship management; candidate must possess strong presentation and technology skills in order to help the team be more efficient in the gathering and delivery of information.

Specific responsibilities include:

+ Interpreting, analyzing and pulling financial statements and related data to prepare presentation materials

+ Assist in preparation of quarterly company earnings reporting

+ Assist with development of preparation materials for management meetings with investors

+ Prepare daily and monthly market reporting for senior management

+ Prepare materials for internal Board of Directors presentations and senior leader town halls

+ Perform competitor analytics - i.e. ability to understand competitor strategies and results and summarize their earnings and conference presentations

+ Manage database of external sell-side analyst models, including analyzing P&L variances vs. internal forecast and management guidance and distributing for executive use

+ Analyzing composition of BAC shareholder base and key trends in share ownership to improve IR targeting efforts

+ Maintain Investor Relations Website, including day-to-day updates and periodic content reviews

**Required Skills:**

+ Bachelors degree

+ 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services

+ Strong presentation skills: ability to synthesize information key to relevant points, present key messages, recommendations and information in a clear and insightful way

+ Strong communication skills: ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally and to feel comfortable delivering insights and recommendations to senior management

+ Strong relationship building skills: ability to effectively network across the organization, build effective relationships and influence at all levels to achieve change and implement goals

+ Must have strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

+ Must be technically savvy

+ Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to work in a high energy environment and work well under pressure

+ Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurial

+ Ability to multi-task and work with numerous teams

+ Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively challenge or identify limitations and assumptions and produce appropriate changes
