**Job Description:**

Assist in the execution of internal control discipline and operational excellence within LOB or ECF. Execute LOB/ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide Standards. Support the implementation of QA/QC processes within the LOB/ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls. Identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation, whilst assisting in building out actions plans and milestones. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Develop and direct staff.

**Job Description:**

This is a great opportunity to join the Wholesale Credit Strategy Issue Remediation Team! We are seeking an Issues Remediation Specialist. The Issues Remediation Specialist will partner with the Issues Remediation lead, WC Process and Policy Owners, Audit, Credit Review and the WC Quality Assurance (QA) Team to drive consistent execution of policy and procedure in support of WC issue remediation efforts.

The Issues Remediation Specialist will help identify potential gaps in our current processes which may require a Self-Identified Audit Issue (SIAI). Whether identified by this team or by the Credit teams, the Issues Remediation Specialist will be responsible to remediate issues and furnish action step deliverables. They will also be accountable to ensure milestones completed timely.

The Issues Remediation Specialist will develop subject matter expertise that supports their ability to independently execute the scope of their responsibilities. The Issues Remediation Specialist must demonstrate a strong ability to tackle multiple initiatives concurrently with successful outcomes.

**Required Skills:**

+ 3-5 years of risk management or business controls experience

+ Experience in credit underwriting, monitoring and collateral analysis and familiar with credit policy and procedures

+ Must be detail orientated and demonstrate a high regard for urgency and deadlines

+ Excellent verbal and written communications

+ Proven history of applying critical thinking to drive change

+ Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with people at different levels

+ Ability to develop root cause analysis and business case for proposed process changes to remediate issue

+ Must be able to Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation

+ Insight to identify gaps and execution risks and escalate as appropriate

+ Ability to work independently and self-manage

+ Proactively anticipates problems and executes solutions
