Here is your chance to be part of the digital transformation that is underway at Georgia-Pacific (GP). Our Consumer Products division is seeking a talented IT Director to deliver our future state SAP-based supply chain planning solutions.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

Qualified candidate will provide strategic oversight and leadership for the IT Supply Chain Capability of the Consumer Products Group (CPG) as well as support to the Digital Transformation Project. The Digital Transformation Project includes the delivery of S4 Hana technology to enable an integrated supply chain. Leader will be accountable for all activities supporting the implementation of the SAP S&OP and planning tools. The candidate should have a strong understanding of supply chain management planning and inventory management processes. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to translate knowledge and best practices into innovative business solutions The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing forward CPG industry insights as well as IT best practices. Total span of leadership includes 8-10 team members.The leader will participate on the CPG IT leadership team and have influence on the overall IT strategy and architecture. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage key relationships and the ability to influence change. Strong understanding of SAP technology is highly valued.


  • Lead, coach and mentor team members

  • Implement strategies to drive optimal architecture supply chain capabilities

  • Support the technical implementation of SAP IPB

  • Own technical data architecture for SAP IPB with S4 inventory integrations

  • Implement best practices that drive value and deliver the optimal support model

  • Own application management and support strategies to meet business SLA

  • Manage the configuration, building and testing of key tools

  • Partner with business to understand needs and deliver solutions with the standard use of SAP tools

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required

  • At least 1full life cycle implementation

  • At least5 years leadership experience (vision and strategy development)

  • At least5 years relevant IT experience (supply chain planning, S&OP)

  • At least5 years SAP supply chain tools experience (SCM, MM/PP)

  • At least 3 years of Application Management experience

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years business analyst experience

  • At least 5 years CPG experience

  • Consulting experience

  • Progressive supply chain business experience across at least 2 disciplines (logistics, mfg, distribution, procurement, demand planning, S&OP, etc)

  • Solutions architect experience

  • SAP IBP experience

  • SAP APO experience
