IT Project Administrator

The IT Project Administrator assists the Project Management Office (PMO) with overall Project Portfolio Management (PPM) activities; including preparing portfolio status reports, onboarding projects, and resource capacity plans. Supports administration processes for project management systems, and technology procurement and billing functions.

As a IT Project Administrator for Banner Bank, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for technology procurement and invoice processing for I.T. hardware, software and equipment

  • Administer the Project Service Request Tracking System, and generates routine reports in support of the Information Technology Committees

  • Maintain the Project Management systems and environment within the PMO including user support and training, running customized reports, monitoring projects, and admin functions for updates andreleases

  • Analyze portfolio and project progress reports submitted by team members for accuracy, completeness and reasonability

  • Prepare and analyze reports, charts, and graphs, and summarize variance between plan and actual progress

  • Be responsible for pricing quotes and recommendation for purchases; tracking maintenance agreements for renewal

  • Preparedepartment procedures and formal documentation for format and consistency

  • Coordinate meeting arrangements, agendas, notifications, mailings, and follow-up

Travel: Occasional travel as required


Education & Certifications

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required


  • 1 or more years of previous experience working with technical applications and/or information systems, or equivalent, required

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and ability to learn computerized ordering systems. Requires intermediate to advanced spreadsheet capability in Excel

  • Knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods

  • Experience in project planning techniques and automated project planning tools

  • Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task, adjust to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
