Job Details

You’ll become an IT Project Manager, but many will consider you a subject matter expert and liaison between our various market streams and IT. This role is the central device connecting all others. Your home base is within our IT team, but you’ll spend the majority of your time working cross-functionally with other groups and Nestle markets, compliance initiatives, and large complex projects within the technology space. Working with the larger Nestle organization brings a great honor. You’ll manage projects that range anywhere from 6 months to 1-2 years in duration. Not only will you bring ideas forward, you’ll be charged with serving as a key liaison to our Business Analysts, Developers, and various members within the organization.

So, why do we need your talent? We’ll lean on you to manage a team of matrixed resources to drive your key objectives from planning through execution and implementation of key projects. Your ability to provide guidance to others to achieve objectives, coach, and motivate the team will be essential in this role. Attention to detail is critical, as well as clear and effective communication to various groups simultaneously. You can expect to interface with internal business stakeholders and your fellow team members within the IT group to confirm project scope, escalate issues and to ensure smooth resolution for various issues.

Your success will have extraordinary impact on the business and the value we deliver for customers, but at Purina, we know there’s more to your life than work. Honoring the best of work-life balance principles is central to our mission, and largely why we’re recognized nationally as a ‘Best Place to Work’.  Our culture continuously dares us to stand taller and ask “what’s next?” Are you up to the dare?
