Employment Branding Specialist

Job Description
Help drive awareness for Nestl Purina as the employer of choice. This position will report to the Talent Sourcing Employment Brand Manager. Key responsibilities for the position include helping to shape our brand awareness strategy, maintain our reputation of being a place where people love to work and draft compelling content for our social channels, blogs, and employment website.


Branding & Metrics:

  • Research current market, generational, and technology trends and ensure the Employment Brand is relevant to target candidates and maintains a competitive edge for Nestl Purina.
  • Execute strategic Brand and sourcing strategies-related projects to completion and within the timelines outlined.
  • Assist in helping to identify best in class brand and sourcing strategies metrics and ROI accountability, execute against the plan, and communicate performance to necessary parties.
  • Assist in helping identify a targeted brand promotions plan for key departments, execute against the plan and communicate performance to necessary parties. Consistently evaluate the performance of and strategy for each sourcing channel.
  • As needed, integrate with the ATS/CRM technology team to ensure compatability of careers website and advanced source metrics tracking.
  • Where applicable, partner with US NiM team leads from other Nestl Operating Companies to ensure best-in-class partnership across the U.S.

Owned Properties (Website, social channels, CRM, ATS):

  • Perform assigned website-related projects to NestlePurinaCareers.com as assigned.
  • Develop copy and other collateral for websites and various sourcing and brandling channles.
  • Research, develop, and execute social media strategies for each of Nestle Purina's Social Media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, etc., including responding to comments
  • Stay current on social media, branding and sourcing strategies trends and bring forward suggestions where applicable.
  • Grow followership and relevance among target candidates.
  • Monitor the social reputation of the organization and alert any negative feedback. This may include responding to negative feedback.
  • Through NPPCs Glassdoor.com strategy and similar, increase awareness of Purina as a best place to work.

College Recruitment

  • Assist with the development and execution of the annual awareness campaign, leveraging relevant technologies to reach the campus audience for targeted programs. This should include back-up strategies in the event of low applicant volume.
  • When applicable, develop internal awareness strategy for NPPC asscoiates at HQ and Factory facilities.

Employer Recognition

  • Research and identify relevant "Best Places to Work" award opportunities for Nestl Purina; draft submissions and respond to comments as appropriate.

Perform all other duties as assigned



  • 4-year Bachelor's degree required.
  • Graduate degree in HR, Marketing or Communications preferred.

Experience (Years/Type):

  • 1+ years experience or an internship in the area of recruiting marketing, brand marketing, marketing communications or digital social communications is required
