Junior Finance Business Process Analyst

**Job Description:**

Within the CFO organization, Team Accelerated Solutions & Automated Processes (Team ASAP) is focused on driving efficiency and productivity across Finance. To this end, Team ASAP combines process reengineering and, in partnership with GT&O, the introduction of new and emerging technologies. Linked to Enterprise initiatives such as Operational Excellence and Enterprise Cost Management, Team ASAPs goal is to reduce manual efforts and errors, improve productivity, and streamline existing functions.

Team ASAP has an open position for a Junior Finance Business Process Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about new technologies, driving change, and improving the organization to support Responsible Growth.

Focused primarily on process reengineering, qualities and skills of a successful candidate include the following:

+ Analyze business problems and provide recommendations around people resources, process, and technology enhancements

+ Assists with documentation of business requirements

+ Build credibility and trust with business partners to unveil complexities and nuances of the business and its processes

+ Demonstrate an eagerness to leverage technology, old and new, identify and solve problems, improve processes, and re-align resources

+ Integrate best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement

+ Support building business cases and (if needed) gain consensus for rapid decision making

On a daily basis, tasks and responsibilities may include:

- Coordinates gathering input/feedback from business SMEs

- Supports delivery of tasks and milestones on projects and understands dependencies and calendar

- Assist in establishment of success criteria of projects

- Partners with the CFO business and/or process owners to:

+ Understand and help document (if needed) current state

+ Analyze business processes impacted to ensure processes are designed efficiently and effectively (operational excellence) and determine readiness for technology driven solution

+ Identify improvement opportunities and risk

+ Articulate business requirements and provide insight into potential solutions

+ Produces pilot and rollout plans for new functionality or processes, including support of business training expansion and adoption activities

+ Leverages common reusable templates and ensures consistency in deliverables across program

_Enterprise Role Overview_

_Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. May have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers._

**Required Skills and Experience:**

+ Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

+ 2+ years experience around process improvement/re-engineering within a financial institution

+ Strong relationship/business partnering skills a must

+ Excellent communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information as well as lead/facilitate discussions across various levels of stakeholders/support partners.

+ Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

+ Organized, result-driven, and able to work on multiples tasks with limited supervision

+ Enjoys working in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing demands and priorities; willingness to take on new initiatives
