Lead Consultant: Governance/Risk Lead

**Job Description:**

**Position Summary**

Lead role in ensuring a critical, high visibility Financial Center application is up to date on all risk and compliance deliverables. Drive a small team of developers to evaluate and close findings, pro-actively prevent findings, and work closely with the development team to schedule remediation requiring more extensive code changes. Use Agile Methodologies to track governance work and deliver to production. Responsible for tracking and facilitating application compliance with applicable bank policies and standards and ensuring timelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. Accountabilities include application access reviews, GIS security remediation, audits, software license management required by applications, not permitted technology remediation and support/facilitation of recovery planning and tests.

**Required Skills**

Background in application governance and risk. Prior experience working with SDLC lifecycle

Successful work history partnering with stakeholders and partners in application development process.

Fluency and strong technical skills in java, JSP, javascript, JQuery

Able to work effectively with dispersed teams in multiple time zones

Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change

Self starter, organized, versatile and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight

Operates with a sense of urgency and ownership

**Desired Skills**

Familiarity with Agile methodology Familiarity with the Bank of America systems and risk culture

Programming experience (3-5 years)

Familiarity with RISE tool
