Job Description:

This position requires a highly motivated and experienced Loan Servicing professional who will be responsible for managing various aspects of the life company, complex loan portfolio. The individual will be responsible for leading the team in delivering exceptional service to our clients (borrowers, investor clients and loan officers). They will manage the relationships with our Life Company clients, producers, and closing teams. They will deal directly with Life Companies, internal and functional area team members. Responsibilities include providing day to day support to the Life Company clients, producers, closing team, and internal servicing teams. This team member will serve as the point of contact for Life Company loans. This position will require interaction with clients from the servicing side and will be the escalation point of contact for issue resolution. They will address and respond to normal and customary questions and inquiries from clients. The position is located in Lower Gwynedd, PA.

General Responsibilities:

    Oversee all activities, deliverables, and deadlines for the Life Company portfolio. Manage relationships with, Life Companies, producers, closing assistants, portfolio management and functional servicing teams. Point of contact for NKF Life Company servicing clients and borrowers. Oversee the reporting requirements for the Life Companies - assuring accuracy and timely delivery working with functional team members Provide training for team members as needed Monitor team performance to identify training needs Create and distribute best practice materials Oversee updates to policies and procedures, process maps, and training materials and provide signoff Liaise with internal compliance team and auditors for Servicing Audits Continuously look for areas of process improvement and coordinate implementation Monitor, administer, or refer borrower requests to the appropriate Servicing functional business unit or outside party upon review of the applicable loan documents and service agreements Hold regular meetings with Life Companies (as needed) to ensure customer needs are being met in accordance with servicing agreements Read and interpret loan documents when presented with questions and issues related to their loan portfolio to fulfill client requests Facilitate payoff requests between borrower and payoff team Monitor payment delinquencies for loans in assigned portfolio. Coordinate collection inquiries to determine nature of default Research and resolve customer inquiries and promote Borrower Insight when appropriate for borrower self-service Interaction and communication with other departments regarding borrower inquiries to ensure accuracy in all transaction requirements including billing, reporting, remitting and system set up Monitor and review loan specific trigger/tickler events to ensure appropriate action is taken to meet required deadlines Monitor loan maturities in conjunction with the payoff team and discuss with borrower their plans for upcoming maturity Monitor portfolio specific reports as required to process any open issues as required Work with all applicable functional business units to ensure compliance with loan document requirements and borrower requests on all servicing systems Provide support with compliance related matters Provide support and guidance to team members as needed Interview, select and train personnel and conduct employee performance evaluations and progress reviews as needed Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management
Skills, Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or other related fields 3-5 years managing a team of commercial real estate professionals 5-7 years loan servicing portfolio management experience including knowledge of Life Company products Strong working knowledge of loan servicing systems and proficiency with MS Office Word and Excel Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects and complete multiple tasks on schedule Ability to drive technology innovation in order to implement growth Ability to work productively under minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and Word Strong work ethic Proactive team player able to work efficiently under stressful conditions at times Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organization Strong leadership skills Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey loan status Ability to problem solve and communicate with others at all levels - internally and externally Must display a high degree of initiative, task ownership and attention to detail Must be willing and able to research and resolve matters as new issues arise Ability to work productively and multi task under minimal supervision Interpret and utilize policies and procedures, investor guides and loan documents Possess excellent collaboration skills Ability to organize and prioritize projects, complete multiple tasks on schedule, and function as a committed team player Work productively in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment Ability to travel a minimum of 10-20%
