Responsible for developing, modifying and/or maintaining applications within Wholesale Loan Accounting. Software developers design, code, test, debug, document programs as well as maintain corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees will have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Employees are expected to have in-depth, expert Commercial Lending knowledge, with specific and detailed experience working with Loan IQ internals, data model and business functionality. Employee will serve as a lead engineer.



**Responsibilities:**



Loan Accounting Technology seeks a senior technologist to lead the development and implementation of our services layer that enables internal and client facing systems to read and post **transactional** data to our back end commercial lending system. As the senior architect, the lead will provide technical design direction to ensure optimal implementation and will provide implementation guidance to team members. The ability to refine high level requirements and to both write and review code is required. Must be able to independently analyze existing interfaces, identify problems and overcome design challenges to build a best of breed, fault tolerant and **performant** architecture. Must be able to communicate design approach to both developers and senior business stakeholders. Must be able to lead a development team in an agile environment and get the most out of every team member.



Lead from the front. Responsible for overall delivery of our services layer. Provide architectural direction, leadership and management to agile development team members. Write and review code.



Minimum Qualifications



+ Overall 7+ years of experience designing and developing systems.

+ Domain experience in Commercial Lending

+ Expertise in Loan IQ internals, data model and business domain are essential

+ Experience in leading/managing agile development team (team size 7+)

+ Proven technical background and analytic capabilities

+ Experience operating and leading in a matrix organization with a global footprint

+ Experience with presenting complex topics to senior stakeholders and incorporating feedback to drive the overall program in the direction set by a senior steering group

+ Strong grasp of general computer science fundamentals especially in a distributed systems environment. Fluency with data structures, algorithms and time/space complexity is a must.

+ Strong grasp of operating systems fundamentals (threads, processes, multi-core and multi-node execution)

+ Expertise with micro-services design and implementation

+ Strong Java and/or C# skills as well as Java Script and SQL experience

+ Tomcat Experience

+ Ability to hire strong technical talent and mentor them from a technical and soft skills perspective

+ Proficiency with communicating technical concepts to a senior technical and business audience



Desired Qualifications



+ Prior experience working in a Agile environment

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
