Purpose Statement / Position Summary

With minimum supervision, this position is directly accountable for the processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail for the Shared Services campus. This responsibility is for all MHS, MMF, MCMG or residing MemorialCare entities on the Shared Services campus. All department functions are to be completed in a regular and timely manner, directly contributing to the daily processes and targets for the departments ultimate results. This position is also responsible for all receiving, notification, tracking for the MHS campus physically and in Peoplesoft or designated electronic format.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
  • Ability to accurately sort and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail/packages.
  • Ability to accurately utilize bulk mail processing equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to accurately complete routine messages and forms.
  • Ability to understand PeopleSoft/FSCM/Prime receiving processes & procedures.
  • Ability to communicate professionally & effectively in all forms of media.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability & commitment to enhancing customer service by recommending and contributing to department improvements.
  • Ability to be at work and be on time
  • Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives
  • Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year mailroom/office clerical experience required. Must have excellent organizational skills, pay attention to detail and have effective communication skills.

Education
  • High School diploma, GED, or Business related course required.
