Manager Deal Desk Location: Salt Lake City, UT
The Manager Deal Desk is responsible for managing the Deal Desk team and driving the process around NICE inContact's global customer pricing and contract negotiation, contract and pricing modifications, and discount reporting.

Financial Responsibility

  • Manage people and processes related to quote approval, service contracts, and addendums, which involves Pricing, Credit, Legal, Trust, and Sales.
  • Execute Customer Contracts and ensure enforcement of contracting and signature policies.
  • Partner with the business in understanding pricing and costs on a product basis to help drive increased profitability.
  • Manage analysis of the sales prospect's requested software products, services and telecom usage to maximize revenue based on the customer's proposed usage.

As a Manager Deal Desk, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:
  • Assist in revenue generation/maximization and revenue retention by providing pricing support and analysis through the following:
  • Understand and analyze the sales prospect's and/or renewal customer's business and specific need for NICE inContact's software products and services or renewal customers, understand and analyze credit
  • Understand the competitive considerations and competitor software products, services and telecom usage functionality to support a higher value proposition when pricing the NICE inContact's software products and services.
  • Manage/Perform monthly ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support the above tasks and provide insight and analysis to the company's month over month revenue trends.
  • Manage analysis for various products, billing models and tier/minimum commitments to be contracted through the sales process and addendum process
  • Manage/ approve special software pricing that exceeds standard discounts as outlined in the Contract Policy, and any custom business terms.
  • Manage the reporting to support the above tasks and also provide insight and analysis related to the following:
  • Revenue and retention trends with regard to customer and products.
  • Customer and product profitability.
  • Credits approval and analysis.
  • Work with the various organizations within the company including COGS, Sales, Marketing, Implementation and Product to promote the company success and positive customer experience.
  • Provide leadership to individuals on team(s) through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring and termination for the team.
  • Prioritize, assign and manage department activities and projects in accordance with the department's goals and objectives. Adjust hours of work, priorities and staff assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on workload.

To Land This Gig You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 6+ years experience in accounting or finance
  • 2+ years leading a high performing team.
  • Knowledge of Excel (including pivot table), Access and SQL
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis and financial modeling
  • Ability to work under pressure of multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage changes in direction of the company
  • Ability to develop, interpret and apply required policies and procedures
  • Ability to motivate and encourage a team
