Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue generating and expense efficiency initiatives by understanding business economics and effectively leading and influencing the business.

  • Proactively lead multiple financial analyses including scenario analysis, root cause analysis, and financial performance decomposition extracting key learnings and actively leveraging learnings to drive business outcomes.

  • Develop and build deep business partner relationships to enable the development of robust financial forecasts and drive insightful analysis. Influence business partners to drive revenue and expense efficiencies and create actionable insights.

  • Leads the preparation of financial analysis, commentary and presentation materials for executive and board review meetings.

  • Performs the task of producing forecasts/projections for the organization that explain the various financial strategies and plans including the possible financial problems that may occur in the future.

  • Leverages financial analysis and business knowledge to identify financial issues and opportunities to optimize results and to drive/influence management decisions.

  • Holds the responsibility of making different financial justification, examination, and inquiry statements and documents that are pertinent to the newly designed business expansion and changes in existing business.

  • Executes analysis about the profits, trends and changes in the economy/industry.

  • Develops a personal relation with the business teams so as to determine and assess the business prospects and feasibility within the industry.

  • Takes charge of the P & L to drive understanding, transparency and improvement.

  • Creates influential reports that will help to make the decision making procedures more efficient.

  • With the help of detailed investigation processes, provides useful assistance to the business collaborators in making appropriate decisions.

  • Determines the possible chances of saving the overall costs of the organization including the elements of risk involved in it.

  • Develops effective professional relationships with the internal and external members of the organization, including the senior staff personnel.

  • Prepares consolidated budgets and forecasts and analyzes trends in revenue, operating expenses, capital expenditures, accounts receivable, and inventory.

  • Prepares financial and business-related analysis and research in such areas as labor utilization, asset utilization, working capital, and return on invested capital.

  • Delivers weekly/monthly reporting package that includes operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends and financial impact, and comprehensive executive level explanations of variances and trends.

  • Creates sophisticated financial models that provide financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership on key business components.

  • Develops and implements new procedures and features to enhance workflow and output.

  • Leads am FP&A analyst and team of business analysts.

  • Prepare certain key management reports including board decks and ad-hoc analysis.


  • Candidate must possess:
    • Hyperion Planning and/or HFM experience preferred

    • Advanced in Excel (mod-selling, data manipulating, trending, and presentations including of Pivots, V-Lookups, Macros, Sumifs, If statements, Graphs, Charts, Illustrations, etc.)


  • Accounting or Finance degree. CPA or MBA a strong plus. 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance.

  • Strong communication skills including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization

  • High-functioning, working knowledge of relevant accounting practices and procedures

  • Strong system and data flow knowledge; ability to learn and adapt to new flows and software technologies

  • System and process architecture, troubleshooting, re-engineering and mapping a plus

  • Strong analytical, research, problem solving and evaluative thinking skills

  • Acute attention to detail and well developed organization and time management skills

  • Able to work in a collaborative fashion that garners positive influence across a matrix environment

  • Strong work ethic; self-starter with the ability to develop, mentor and grow employees

  • Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment, a willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily and provide leadership

  • Ability to travel as needed

Interpersonal Communications:

Develops strong relationships with customer personnel. Frequent customer presentation. Frequent contact with operations, purchasing, training and accounting to understand and resolve issues. Shares opinions, ideas and resources with others to achieve common goals; with focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Physical Demand:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop and bend. Uses hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Industrial or shop environment. Frequently exposed to wet, humid, outside weather conditions and vibration. Works in some customer environments during later part of training. May be exposed to high pressure, chemicals, gas releases, or fire. The noise level in work environment is usually moderate.
