If you are aManufacturing Programmerprofessional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in ourStafford, TX location, you willsupport manufacturing needs by creating numerical control programs using computer aided ESPRIT CAM design software that controls routers to make parts on our milling and Turning equipments.

AS A MANUFACTURING PROGRAMMER, YOU WILL:

  • Work with engineering department to initiate, develop and maintain off CNC programs to support a fast-paced Machining operations environment
  • Be involved in the prove out of new technology, first article inspection, fixture design, and day to day programming
  • Be responsible for completing changes to existing CNC programsand assisting with estimating or other inter-department technical requirements
  • Write and edit CNC programs for CNC equipment using computer aided manufacturing software
  • Analyze engineering drawings, specificationsand work orders to determine best tooling and machining process
  • Determine setup requirements and select tooling speeds and feeds for optimized tool life and program efficiency
  • Support manufacturing requirements from a CNC programming standpoint


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • High School/GED
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in set up, operation and programming of CNC Mill and Lathe machines by Using ESPRIT CAM
  • Experience writing and editing computerized numerical control programs milling and turning
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machines with understanding of cutting tool selection and application
  • Advanced blueprint reading skills and GD&T understanding
  • Developed mechanical reasoning and logical troubleshooting skills
