Overhead Door Company of St. Louis, a DH Pace Company, is searching for aMaterials Coordinatorto join the team! This position will assist in material management programs for this division, which includes the negotiation of material costs, freight costs, and all aspects of inventory control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the materials program for your location.

  • Assist in coordinating the local freight programs.

  • Assist in coordinating the local Scrap and Trash Programs.

  • Assist in coordinating the local Hot List program.

  • Assist in coordinating inventory through the entire procurement lifecycle.

  • Perform cycle counts and audits for the location.

  • Ensure warehouse is set up and maintained appropriately inventory locations, safety items handled, etc.

  • Work with operations and purchasing to increase inventory turns on stock material.

  • Work with operations and estimating to reduce the amount of slow-moving items.

  • Assist in coordinating material replenishment processes for the warehouse and satellite warehouses.

  • Other duties may be assigned.


  • Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have a high attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites
