Responsibilities

This position will be a Senior Network Engineer responsible for architecting, designing, and engineering enterprise solutions for DoD customers.

Responsible for evaluating hardware and software, troubleshooting, handling of network related problems, and providing technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks.

Responsible for architecting and designing solutions for enterprise tech refresh efforts.

Create design guides, refresh plans, and implementation plans in support of refresh efforts.

U.S. Citizenship required and must hold an active/current Secret (SSBI) and or be able to obtain Top Secret DoD security clearance


Qualifications

Must be able to architect, design, engineer, and troubleshoot networks in a complex multi-vendor environment

Expert in developing configurations in support of technical refresh efforts

Expert in developing configurations and implementing fix-actions to support the resolution of network-related issues

Experience leading team members and directing resources in support of the operation and refresh of network infrastructure

Support implementation of configuration management processes and support the tracking and reporting of those changes

Update baseline artifacts to include logical design, as-is drawings and other documents as required for proper network administration

Knowledgeable and have the ability to diagram, document, configuration and install layer 2/3 networks in a predefined format

Install and modify network components and other systems as required for life cycle tech refresh management to include physical and/or logical connections with any/all network devices/components as specified

Extensive experience with the integration of new network solutions replacing end of life/end of support network hardware

Troubleshooting and implementation experience with technologies and protocols such as Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, Fabricpath, Spanning-Tree, and Virtual Port-Channel.

Professional Certification Required (Must hold a minimum of 1 certification)

CISSP orSecurity+ CEOr comparable

Other Certifications

ITIL v3

Vendor Certification Required (Must hold or be able to obtain 1 technical cert within 90 days)

CCNA (CCNP preferred);JNCIA;F5 CA/CTS/CSE
