Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Strategist I (Ad Operations Manager) to manage and execute the development and application of paid media creative assets for F5 campaigns and Always-On Marketing Programs. (paid search, affiliates, display ads, social, lead gen, etc.). This individual has an important role in helping to drive the acquisition and engagement of customers across the portfolio F5 marketing programs. The Ad Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and automating seamless creative production and activation of our paid channel assets with our global media agency. The successful candidate will have demonstrable expertise in driving data-driven marketing strategy as well as campaign execution end-to-end.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to day communications with global media agencies for planning, strategy, delivery, reporting and optimization.
  • Facilitates discussions, schedules meetings, ensures the proper stakeholders provide input regarding paid media optimization and/or budget recommendations
  • Manages creation/production and QA of ad assets with internal and external creative agencies and brand, ensuring alignment to paid media plans and creative specifications
  • Oversees delivery and activation of creative assets with global agencies
  • Provides recommendations on creative and tactic best practices to influence content strategy and user journeys
  • Provides Paid Media planning, strategy, reporting, and optimization support
  • Supports ad hoc paid media related projects as they arise
  • Supports Global and Theater Program Strategists in the development of media briefs to ensure alignment with programobjectives and KPIs.
  • Evaluates Theater media plan proposals with Global and Theater Program Strategists, Analytics, Social and Search and requestrevisions based on data-driven insight, KPIs and best practices.
  • Manages and nurtures relationships with F5 Paid Media and Owned Channel Leads, Brand, Portfolio, Theaters, and external agency partners toensure alignment on global processes and communication
  • Champion the ongoing development of paid media creative processes and tools

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep understanding of ad trafficking and tracking technology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of creative specifications by media platform: LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Ads, Programmatic DSPs
  • Expert in Wrike and intimately familiar with creative production briefing and timelines
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to work well independently and own campaign work related to media creative assets as a subject matter expert
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, work in a fast-pace environment, and prioritize responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 6-9 years related experience in paid media ad operation and campaign program strategy
  • BA/BS in marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to work with little supervision.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Leverage data to make intelligent, actionable business decisions.
  • Act like an entrepreneur; be self-motivated, take calculated risks, execute on new ideas and see projects through start to finish.
  • Hard-working, creative and eager to learn and expand knowledge of paid media strategies.
  • Qualified applicants should possess the ability to independently develop ideas and strategies that lead to success and the growth of the business line overall.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 20% of the time spent traveling.
