Sodexo is looking for a Patient Service Manager 2 in Los Angeles, CA

Its internationally renowned physicians care for patients, teach and conduct research at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, the region’s first medical school.


The Patient Service Manager will work in this fast paced environment and will focus heavily on emphasis of patient satisfaction, employee engagement, customer service, and providing high end service to our patients. You will be a hands on manager overseeing the patient services program which consists of the tray line program At Your Request (AYR), patient rounding , customer service, and building team morale. Must be able to meet multiple demands while communicating effectively with staff and contributing to the development and success of a large team. RD preferred, not required. Spanish-speaking desirable.

The successful candidate will also be involved in the management and training of staff and food quality.  Must have strong customer service skills.

Position Summary

Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

- Performs audits and prepares reports.




Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
