SUMMARY


The PC Software Intern provides support for R&D development activities. In this role, the intern will implement software features, fix defects, and develop automated tests cases.


The PC Software Intern will exhibit genuine interest in solving work problems through proactively asking questions, clearly communicating and collaborating both internally and externally to grow the business. In addition, the PC Software Intern is responsible for understanding our competition and customers, as well as showing initiative to learn and continuously improve company processes.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Listed in order of relevance:


  • Provide software development support for R&D projects, specifically PC software projects.

  • Fix defects, design and develop automated tests of CCC products, and develop various windows-based applications and components.

  • Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and solutions under the direction of a technical lead or supervisor.

  • Use established computer programming tools to develop software and tests.

  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

  • Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in:
    • Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.

  • Have completed Sophomore or Junior coursework by time of internship.

  • Experience in Angular based or equivalent front-end web development preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS


  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology preferred.

  • Use established computer programming tools to develop software or tests.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.

  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
