Directs, manages, plans and administers the operational and administrative activities of the Systems Engineering section. Supports multiple systems through maintenance, modification, problem resolution, etc. to support ongoing delivery of services and/or operations. Manages multiple applications/development projects, or single major complex initiatives if a small area of the development function. Coordinates resources across various applications, operations or projects. Responsible for staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making. Manages budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Provides input on policy issues. Typically 7-10 years of experience in managing and directing multi-project development teams

**Job Description:**

Fulfilment & Servicing Technology (FAST) is a group across Global Banking & Markets Technology. This team enables technology solutions that are used by the Fulfillment and Servicing Teams. The Fulfillment teams are responsible for on-boarding the customers to our products / applications. The servicing teams are responsible for resolving service requests of existing customers either through the voice channel or through Help Desk. The GBAMT FAST group works on more than 20 applications across Fulfilment and Servicing operations.

Individual will be responsible for application management and maintenance of a portfolio of applications in the FAST group, and managing offshore and vendor teams. The role involves Development, Maintenance and Support of applications that are technically and functionally disparate. Ensures the team follows the processes laid out by the organization while designing, developing, maintaining and supporting the applications. The individual will be required to collaborate with a large set of stakeholders, mentor team members and develop innovative solutions and is accountable for the quality of the deliverables from Offshore and the Vendor Teams.


+ Deliver complex application development in a global delivery model (onshore-offshore)

+ Lead a talented group of application leads and provide for a vision

+ Design, Development, Maintenance and Support of applications across multiple technologies and products such as Pega BPM/CRM, Java/J2EE, .NET, Siebel, MuleSoft amongst others

+ Ensure process compliance with respect to the enterprise SDLC and support processes

+ Participate Organization Wide Initiatives and Bank Audit Process

+ Constantly look for and execute innovation opportunities and efficiency improvement ideas

+ A proactive approach to problem solving and think innovatively

+ Ability to manage concurrent activities and issues are a must

+ Experience working in Agile delivery methodology

**Required Skills**

+ Strong experience with delivery of Application Development for applications in Global Banking and Markets

+ 15+ years of experience in software development and support

+ Strong experience in managing application and maintenance portfolios for Commercial / Corporate Banking space

+ Strong experience with Pega with a preference with experience with CLM.

+ Knowledge about Java/J2EE or Net (Asp.net, C#) with a focus on integration technology.

+ Has a good level of understanding about Dev Ops, Dev QA and ITIL processes

+ Has managed teams of size greater than 25

+ Has experience managing delivery of vendor teams

+ Have strong communication skills both verbal and written

+ Strong analytical skills

+ A proactive approach to problem solving and thinking innovatively

**Desired Skills**

+ Experience in Robotic Process Automation, Predictive Analysis, Artificial Intelligence

+ Hands-on experience in the proactive, passionate improvement of software development and maintenance process and practices to optimize business value delivery

+ Preferred to have experience with distributed teams which span multiple geographies, time zones and cultures
