Performance Leader





The Performance Leader reports to the Performance Manager and will serve as a resource and mentor to supervisors and manufacturing engineers in the Angel Soft tissue manufacturing area.




A Day In The Life Typically Includes:





  • Engage and lead team members in appropriate and positive safety behavior, safety plan activities and proactive, safe work activities


  • Train and comply with all policies and guidelines, internal and external


  • Evaluate and coach employees on their technical capabilities and company cultural awareness and aptitude.


  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Shift Capability Leaders and other leaders within Angel Soft to ensure master tech/technician performance gaps are identified and addressed



What You Will Need:







Basic Qualifications:




  • Bachelors degree or higher OR a minimum of five (5) years of paper manufacturing experience


  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience building a documentation, record-keeping and report system which tracks the development of all people within the work system


  • Experience facilitating and building an Ownership-Based Work System


  • Experience supporting and improving communication strategies, Playbook Structures and capability improvement which drives performance measurements tied to key performance indicators (KPIs)




What Will Put You Ahead?



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 10 years of manufacturing experience


  • Previous leadership experience with 2 or more years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment


  • Experience leading a training organization in an industrial environment


  • Previous paper machine or paper converting machinery experience. Tissue paper machine or converting equipment experience is a bonus


  • Previous experience working in a union manufacturing environment


  • Experience applying financial and statistical skills within a manufacturing operation


  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools in the following manner: Excel (sorting data, creating tables and creating graphs); Outlook (scheduling tasks, calendar invitations and general professional correspondence); Word (document creation/editing); PowerPoint (presentation creation/editing)
