The Sr. Investment Ops Specialist role:

Job Responsibilities:

One of the major responsibilities of this individual will be to act as a control point for wires that are processed on behalf of the non-PGIM investment managers. This includes from the point of entry to a completed authorized package.

  • Wires, Capital Calls, New bonds, Hedges

  • Forecasting including daily and weekly checks for completeness and accuracy

  • Settlement of distributions, sales

  • Requesting FX conversions

  • Confirming documentation meets audit standards

This individual will also manage custody activities including:

  • Approving withdrawals and deposits for new and existing affiliated notes and maintaining a constant awareness and responsible approach to coordinating due to the time sensitive nature related to these notes. This includes ensuring bond powers are created and executed where required.

  • Review and prepare instructions to receive in-kind distributions of securities as well as coordinating delivery with the broker.

  • Approval of CUSIP changes and custody related activities.

  • Receiving trade tickets from QMA for and set/up approve trade instructions with JPM Chase. Follow up with all required parties to confirm proper settlement.

  • Approve monthly custody reconciliation reports for Impact, AAG, and Affiliated that are used to reveal any holding breaks between the bank, PAM, and Custody Log.

  • Review of any Corporate Actions

Customer Support will be a paramount part of this job as this individual will be a conduit to Corporate Banking and outside banking partners.

  • Respond to email requests from Impact, Chase, Affiliated, legal, and hedge fund teams as needed. Provide guidance for any matter relating to settlements.

  • Handle projects and any ad-hoc business that arises.


  • Experience using Bank Systems, PAM, Excel, Word, Adobe & Cognos preferred

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • High level of self-motivation

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Ability to multi-task during high volume periods

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and interact effectively with team members and other internal/external partners

The position has responsibilities which include the processing of wire transfers. In accordance with the Treasurer's Policy "Background Screenings on Wire Transfer Associates," any candidate selected for this position will be required to submit to an extensive background screening and a credit check. Failure to comply will eliminate a candidate from consideration for this position.
