**The Philanthropic Solutions** group within Bank of America Private Bank delivers expertise and comprehensive services to help our clients build and sustain their missions. We lead the industry in serving both institutions and individuals by seamlessly integrating philanthropy into their broader financial relationships. Our Philanthropic Solutions group is positioned nationally in 26 locations and represented locally by more than 190 seasoned professionals. We serve thousands of nonprofit clients across the United States by providing advice on industry-wide best practices and devising highly customized, mission-focused solutions.

**The Position**

The Philanthropic Market Executive (PME) is the market leader accountable for driving philanthropic growth and productivity in the Northeast regions. The PME is the face of philanthropy in the market for UST and ML focused on growing the market through four key areas of responsibility: working with sales (Sr ISDs, ISDs, ICAs, PCAs and FAs) to grow new relationships and deepen existing ones, ensure delivery of exceptional client service, driving market-level philanthropic engagement strategies across various lines of business, and driving a culture and strategy of growth and client engagement across all roles in Philanthropic Solutions. The position can be based in Boston, New York City, Hopewell NJ, East Hartford CT, or in a Private Bank office located within the region.

Major responsibilities include:

+ Responsibility for revenue & flows performance and PCD/PCM market productivity

+ Exclusive responsibility for setting and executing on market-level engagement strategies for UST, ML and other lines of business

+ Drive an integrated culture of growth

+ Prioritize market/travel activity, resource allocation and budget across all relationship management roles for their respective markets

+ Leverage key growth drivers for all client segments, including OCIO and private philanthropy opportunities

+ Engage directly with key clients and prospects

+ Engage in joint calling with key client teams as appropriate

+ Drive delivery of philanthropic services and solutions to clients

+ Coordinate with investment teams in delivery of investment management solutions

+ Oversee the at-risk client process and engage with at-risk clients

+ Assist PFMs in the development of and drive/own resolution of escalations

+ Deliver on Philanthropic Solutions referral and revenue targets

+ Provide coaching and support to direct reports

+ Provide ongoing feedback and immediately addresses performance issues should they arise

+ Know top talent in the market both externally and across BAC lines of business

**The Candidate**

The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills & competencies

+ Proven sales management performance

+ Sales skills ability to attract and close new philanthropic business opportunities

+ Institutional and/or private philanthropic industry and sector expertise

+ External visibility actively involved in role related networking, affiliate opportunities

+ Strong leadership skills

+ Inspires confidence and optimism

+ Projects executive presence to clients, employees and colleagues

+ Builds strong relationships internally and externally across the market; has broad network

+ Effective decision maker

+ Ability to effectively drive results and hold others accountable

+ Leverages the strengths of the team; delegates effectively

+ Track record of recruiting and developing top talent

+ Strong business acumen and knowledge of the UST platform

+ Communicates with impact and influences effectively

**Desired Qualifications**

+ 7+ years of successful experience in leading philanthropic sales, relationship management and/or market teams (or equivalent)

+ Bachelors degree required. Advanced degree and/or certifications preferred.

+ Technically proficient in philanthropic investments and administration to support the client service standards.
