JOB SUMMARY

  • Provide thought leadership in advancing the company agenda to help frame new or emerging regulations which may impact our products and services
  • Identify, understand and ensure compliance with the broad range of regulations under which we operate
  • Develop and operate internal risk and compliance programs, proactively seeking process improvements to improve efficiencies and reduce operational costs.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to ensure accuracy of standards against external regulations.
  • Research regulatory and compliance requirements and keep other departments abreast of applicable rules
  • Ensure that risk and compliance programs, policies and procedures are well defined and implemented.
  • Work with management in all areas to define the risk and compliance function as it relates to overall business activities.
  • Requires knowledge of regulations and requirements governing the Payment Industry

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
  • Compile information related to risk and compliance including AML/BSA, MTL regulations, KYC procedures, OFAC screens, internal onboarding policies and procedures, FinCEN regulations and other regulatory requirements, as defined
  • Provide direction regarding regulatory changes and frame opportunities for operational compliance and design solutions to effect positive change
  • Provide strategic consulting to Product to ensure that hosted services are compliant with all applicable payment industry regulations. Engage and collaborate with Product team members to ensure that product requirements are in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
  • Compile and manage a central repository of compliance and risk information, documentation, policies and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer across departments
  • Research regulatory and compliance requirements and keep other departments abreast of applicable rules
  • Execute ongoing activities needed to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Organize and maintain department presentations, risk policies, and compliance processes & procedures in a consistent format
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, or equivalent field of study preferred
  • 3+ years of regulatory or compliance or other applicable experience preferred
  • 8+years of operational or technical support in Financial Services industry
  • Prior AML/BSA experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
