As a Principal IT Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the analysis and technical deliverables for projects, programs, and processes, primarily in the areas of Salesforce applications. Responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, level of effort estimations, configurations, implementations, and supporting on-going enhancement and sustainability of the platform. You will collaborate closely with Business Product Owners, Architects, Operations, Design, Development, and Testing teams to help deliver on the end-goals of the business.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Consults with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements.
Provides technical expertise for system functional specifications and deploys new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining deliverables of assignments, with limited oversight from manager.
Contributes to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on work group results.
Lead large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area.
Develops solutions to complex problems, makes improvements of processes, systems or products independently to enhance performance of job area.
Represents organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels.
May negotiate with others to reach understanding or agreement, and influence decision-making.
Work with cross functional teams across the company as the business partner to gain operational efficiencies
May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
Handle all inbound user requests, troubleshoot, and respond to them in a timely manner
Act as liaison between our business partners and the delivery team
Responsible for leading agile team ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives
Perform and document program unit tests based on sample data, stipulated functional test conditions and stipulated expected results
Performs Change Management functions including documentation and administration of assigned release activity
Create and maintain thorough, up-to-date, functional, and technical systems documentation
Be a self-starter and team player with solid verbal and written communication skills

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
Strongly Preferred:
o 2+ years of experience working knowledge with Salesforce Products
o Understanding of CRM principles. Sales, Service, and/or Marketing Cloud preferred
o Experience with project management methodologies to create and maintain timelines
o Experience using Agile methodology and tools (i.e., Jira) to manage sprints and releases
o Impeccable customer driven mindset
o Extremely high attention to detail
o Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking skills
Previous roles in a consulting or high growth, tech environment highly desired
Strong relationship building skills coupled with the ability to develop consensus
Experience with the new lightning framework a plus
Knowledge in SOQL and Visualforce/APEX is desired
