**Job Description:**



Global Problem Management is responsible for performing the problem management piece for the most significant problems across the enterprise. Global Problem Management supports all Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) domains across all geographic regions (AMRS, EMEA, and APAC).



The Global Problem Management Investigation is a process where a Problem Manager helps identify/validates root cause and addressing corrective actions associated with significant business impacting incident(s).



Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate required meetings under potentially stressful conditions

2. Coordinate technical information related to significant business impacting events

3. Create and manage problem records, and related work tasks to successful completion

4. Write up Executive Summary level documentation for highly visible investigations

5. Send timely and appropriate communications throughout the life of a problem investigation

6. Be knowledgeable in Problem Management policy, standards, and process guidelines"



Required:



1. Meeting facilitation skills with the ability to perform in high pressure situations

2. Excellent relationship management skills, written and verbal

3. 5+ years of Information Technology experience within a Bank of America support/operations environment or within the financial services industry

4. Resiliency and confidence dealing with complex situations and people

5. Demonstrate an ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work in a timely manner

6. Able to translate to non-technical business partners, to communicate complex technology solutions across different audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or third party vendors

7. Strong critical thinker with the analytical skills to lead the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation

8. Excellent business acumen, able to understand Bank of America processes, locations, products and services

Desired:



1. ITIL Certification

2. Broad base of understanding across a wide spectrum of technical areas

3. Multi-task in a matrixed reporting environment

4. Communicate complex information in simple terms (oral and written) for both technical and business teams

5. Understands bank problem management processes

6. Previously user of ITSM Remedy
