This is a full-time permanent position, and we are looking for a talented and motivated Product Owner to join our team in the US, with the opportunity to work remotely.
The Product Owner is a key member of the Computershare Loan Services Solutions team. This position will be at the forefront in establishing and managing a suite of products and services focused on the investor experience. --
This role is under the division of Computershare Loan Servicing (CLS) and is an industry leader in mortgage servicing solutions for the financial services and investment banking industries. As part of Computershare - the world's largest stock transfer agent-we have grown rapidly in Colorado and Arizona to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

A Role You Will Love
The Product Owner will drive the development and implementation of key product initiatives that delight our clients in the mortgage loan servicing sector and reinforce Computershare's industry leadership position. This includes opportunity identification and prototyping through to technical and business implementation.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitates the creation of user stories for the team's backlog
  • Adds details to any of the user stories when the team requires it
  • Responsible for the business value associated with each of the user stories
  • Ensures backlog is continuously prioritized in accordance with portfolio and program priorities
  • Ensures backlog is visible, transparent, and understood by the team and other stakeholders
  • Interfaces with stakeholders - users, architects, business analysts, program and portfolio team
  • Optimizes value of the teams work in alignment with program objectives
  • Collaborates on the definition of ready and definition of done with team
  • Creates space in backlog for technical debt, architectural investment, and innovation
  • Participates in team and program events
  • Backlog Refinement - filling in any gaps the team may have when refining the user stories
  • Sprint Planning - helps determine sprint objectives and goals
  • Daily Standups - provides input only as clarification/when requested
  • Sprint Retrospective/Review - participates as a team member
  • PI Planning - primary source for story detail and priorities and have the responsibility of accepting the final iteration plan
  • Product Owner Sync - coordinates dependencies and cross team prioritization with other product owners.

What Will You Bring to The Role?
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once, establish work priorities, and manage time in order to meet deadlines and goals.
Other education and key skills required for the role include:
  • 3 years of experience in technical or business product management
  • 3 years' experience with agile (SAFE) product development methodology preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
  • Experience researching, designing, and building new solutions and/or improving existing solutions.
  • Experience communicating engineering technical challenges that may affect business timelines
  • Sound understanding of Loan Services
  • Organizational and leadership abilities to influence, negotiate and drive results

  • Ability to work and collaborate with and cross department and international teams
  • Ability to influence up, down, and across
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus in a reciprocal way
  • Extensive technology acumen and a desire to learn
  • Embraces new technologies and skillsets
  • Strong product development skills
  • Product Owner certification
