The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Program for Inclusive Education (PIE), Associate Program Director.

The Associate Program Director of ACE Program for Inclusive Education works to advance the mission of the Program for Inclusive Education (PIE) in three primary capacities-program operations; student services; and communication and documentation. This position facilitates program operations including on-campus management with offices, related participant service, and campus activities; and on-site professional development facilitation. Second, the position manages student services for PIE including recruitment, admission through program completion, financial/accounting, technology support, and pastoral support. Additionally, the Assoc Program Director facilitates marketing efforts through creating and managing materials. This full-time position requires administrative and content specific skills in the field of inclusive education. The PIE Associate Program Director reports directly to the Director of the Program for Inclusive Education.

Program Operations: Organizes and manages the PIE calendar for on-campus events including orientation, catered meals, professional workshops, spiritual enrichment events, etc.: synthesizes academic resources such as the preparation of online course materials, classroom reservations, and updating academic handbook; coordinates and analyzes program evaluations; maintains close contact and collaborates with the ACE liaison and Director of Graduate Studies for issues concerning participants' needs (i.e., Student Accounts, Registrar, Graduate School, Housing, Building Managers, Health Services, etc.); facilitates recruitment processes (i.e., maintains regular contact with applicants, answers inquiries, attends conferences and networks); supports faculty and staff with technology needs (i.e., Sakai); engages the Business Office to reconcile issues with tuition, scholarships, payments, Local Education Agencies for Title funds for professional development opportunities.

Student Support: Manages the application, admission, enrollment, and evaluation processes-revises the application; prepares applicant files; facilitates interviews; coordinates outreach and evaluation of potential program participants; facilitates acceptance and enrollment processes; manages scholarship applications; documents registration and tuition records, application, admission and registration procedures on-campus considerations.

Communication & Documentation: Collaborates on the design of marketing plans and materials; facilitates communication with schools, (arch)dioceses, and potential applicants; collaborates on application and website materials; and sends monthly newsletters; records meeting minutes; processes data collection and collaborates with the Office of Professional Standards.

Additional Responsibilities: Resource development when applicable including Blog, Newsletter, Modules, etc. Teaching assistant responsibilities for the summer on-campus courses; Other tasks as assigned by the Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree required. Preferably a degree in Education or related field.3-4 years of related experience - related classroom experience is acceptable.
Education training in the field of inclusive education/special education or related services with knowledge of higher education processes; necessary to have excellent organizational skills; personal and professional attributes; quick learner; collaborative work style with a record of success; independent decision-making and content in inclusive education. Helpful to understand Catholic schools and have a passion for this mission.Prefer a license in education w/special education knowledge or certification.
