Arcadis is seeking a Project Controls Analyst. This position is necessary to ensure achievement of goals by establishing and maintaining the coordination of activities, resources, equipment and information necessary to support the project manager on the projects they are assigned. The Project Controls Analyst must have skills of adaptability, versatility with project support and facilitation skills to keep the project and the project manager focused on the objectives of the organization and the projects he/she supports. This position will provide support/assistance and subject matter expertise to the senior project managers in the organization as it relates to document control, project schedules, scope management, budget management, contract management and other processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support documentation efforts to initiate, plan, schedule, execute, and close construction projects.
  • Analyze, review and document the requirements of a project throughout its life cycle
  • Attend meetings, as needed and distribute meeting materials to relevant project team members
  • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the contractor and project team
  • Ensure team needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Assist the Project Manager with issuing Contracts, Letters of Intent, Purchase Orders, etc.
  • Maintain Contract Execution Tracking, Change Management, Risk, relevant project information, and other needed documentation and /or logs
  • Assist the Project Manager in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval
  • Assist the Project Manager in reporting the project performance metrics.
  • Track and manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the database
  • Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact the overall project
  • Work with the various discipline leads on various assignments as required to report to the Client.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 - 5 years of analytical experience in a corporate position
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a business/environment supporting Projects
  • Must have working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint in a corporate environment
