Job Summary:

Cloud Lake is currentlyseeking aProject Delivery Manager (PDM)who will be responsible foroptimizingourproject delivery practicesin support of our Digital Service and Advanced Analytics programs witha growingglobal customer base and geographically disparate project support teams. The PDM is a people-focused and experience-oriented role that is intended to support theprogram andoperations leadershipto augment, monitor,and advance existing project operations delivery practices,tocreate greaterbandwidth and optimize the operational environment for the project teamto advance our technical delivery and value to our clients. This person will be required to build meaningful relationshipsand work closely withstakeholders within the programs and corporate services groups, and ensure successful project operations deliverythroughout itslifecycle. This role will ultimately support Cloud Lakes ability to build sustainable growth, advance our capability offerings, andprovide exceptional serviceto the employeeswhile ensuring superior technicaldelivery to our clients. An ideal candidate is a people-focused, value/outcome driven, and growth-oriented individual with the demonstrated ability to set targets and lead / motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost, and quality objectives.


Project/Task Planning

  • Help develop a transition strategy (for major projects / tasks) and support tactical planning to ensure transition becomes a value-add service to the customer and employees. Examples of key activities include but are not limited to: Personnel Readiness; Operational Readiness Assessment & review; Knowledge Management; standards development; and Simulation/Training.

  • Work closely with internal support groups (i.e.IT, Human Resources, Recruiting, etc.)to implement and facilitate required processes per transition plan.

  • Ensure plan and activity alignment to the overall corporate strategyand set / communicate clear expectations of delivery and deliverables.

  • Work closely with the operational leadership to accomplish right sizing the task/projects and identification of cost avoidance opportunities.

  • Ensure alignment of the initial strategy, delivery, and operations with a repeatable process, and employ Cloud Lake standard tools including artifacts and surveys, in support of the operational leadership.

  • Develop and implement Project or workstream specific learning & development plan. Ensure routine monitoring and reporting.

Project Delivery / Optimization

  • Understand the teams objectives, systems, and capabilities in order to make decisions about organizational priorities and to help resolve issues.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, internal business groups, and key stakeholders.

  • Work directly at the intersection of the corporate operations leadership, corporate services groups,and project team to manage our resourcing needs, communication, priorities, and overall team satisfaction.

  • Assist the Integrated Project leaders and liaise with the Technical staff to establish the delivery strategy

  • Assist the project management leadership in delivering all aspects of the project in accordance with the plan. Work closely with the management and technical leadership ensure proper resourcing (immediate needs & forecasting).

  • Work with the Project Manager to monitor compliance to contract requirements and Cloud Lakes Quality Management System requirements. Help monitor the quality of the required deliverables - advise the program leadership of any deviation. Conduct internal audits as necessary.

  • Manage the teams velocity and continually improve our processes for organizing ourselves and our work.

  • Providing process and ISO 9001:2015 QMS training to employees, PMs, and technical leads.

  • Support ISO 9001 and CMMI (or other organizational standard) audit and appraisal efforts.

  • Liaise with the company and program leadership, as well as with employees to communicate company priorities, ensure routine communication of company-level requirements, data calls, and news. Help communicate, implement, and/or monitor progress of corporate initiatives such as Veteran Support program.

  • Ensure the achievement of high quality customer service and satisfaction.

  • Ensure the effective and efficient close out of all projects to meet the clients' requirements and enable final project completion.

  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders (corporate, management, employees) and other stakeholder teams to bring project alignment to large ecosystem and create holistic success for everyone.

  • Undertake independent reviews and audits internal to the project.

  • Accurately report risks, successes, progress, and failures.

  • Demonstrate a passion for learning, embrace change, and ask insightful questions particularly about business needs and optimal experience delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience providing operational support (including transition and staffing)for a federal contracting company. Must haveexperiencesupportingmultiple federal contracts concurrently(>$50Mannual revenueand/or a minimum of100 employees collectively).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting project transition / project planning activities; must be supportedthrough clear work examples and references (HIGHLY DESIRED: Experience supporting large scale operations exceeding aforementioned thresholdswith globalemployee/customer base).
  • Familiarity with Information Technology-oriented programs or projects requiring multi-disciplinaryteams supporting technical requirements of high complexity.
  • In-depth understanding of the corporate operations ecosystem and stakeholder activities. Understanding of the federal and state regulations and compliance requirements (i.e. SCA, CBA, tax laws)relevant to project transition, onboarding, planning, and operations.

  • Experience implementing ISO 9001 and/or CMMI-based principles into a support organization and/or contract.

  • Excellent writing skills (REQUIRED: Must be willing to provide a writing sample/respond to a writing task as a part of the hiring process).

  • Excellent presentation and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and increase transparency with diverse stakeholder groups, with a strong competency in situational awareness and conflict resolution.

  • Experience with managing milestones, dependencies, complex integrations, communications, and stakeholder expectation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience using Project Management tools such as MS Project and Visio (or equivalent).

  • Ability to maintain a primary duty location in HQ (Herndon, VA). Must be able totravel+25% to employee and client sites (local and out of state). Must be willing and available for travel with minimal notice when required.

  • Must currentlypossess orbe willing to obtain PMP or equivalentcertifications / attend trainingduring the first 12 months of hire.

  • Ability and willingness to obtain DoD Secret clearance or higher as required. Must currently possess or be able to obtain aCommon Access Card(CAC) / Personal Identity Verification (PIV)card and pass a minimum of the National Agency Checkwith Inquiries (NACI) upon hire.

  • Must be a perpetual relationship builder with demonstrated ability to grow and nurture existing a new client / employee relationships to help drive prioritization across multiple projects and create ecosystems of success.
  • Avid learner who are also passionate about helping others learn. Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, assisting, and/or monitoring a learning & development initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, articulate, implement and inspire,and advocate organizational culture.
