Position Summary



The Project Manager Communications is responsible for the effective management ofdesignatedbusinessunitinternalcommunicationprojects, includingdeveloping communication plans,coordinating all deliverables,trackingrequirements of the entire project team, and proactively identifying any schedule risks.This role is responsible for planning,creating,anddistributingbusiness unitcommunicationsacross varied channelstohelpemployeesunderstand andadoptbusiness changes.This role willcreatemessagingand contentthat clearlyexplainswhatbusiness unit changes are occurring, why they are occurring, andhow they tie tobusiness unit prioritiesin a mannerthat isconsistent with ourcorporatebrand fundamentals andcompany culture.This individualwillalso createcollateralsuch aspresentations,job aids,anddiscussion guides.This is a terrific roleforanorganized and detail-orientedindividual whocan create a structured, organized approach to effectively synthesize and reinforcecomplexconcepts.




Essential Job Functions



Manage assignedcommunication projectsfrom inception to completion, ensuring that all activitiesare effectively and efficiently coordinated and completed on time


Drive awareness, understanding and adoption of business unit goalsandprojects


Incorporate a variety of mediums/channels(email, Teams, SharePoint, video)to drive teammate engagement andpromote understanding ofbusiness unitgoals anddesired actions and outcomes


Developandimplementcommunicationplansfor all assigned projects, including authoring/editing content


Overseecommunication project componentsfor timely completion;Provideinternalcustomerswith statusupdates andresolve any conflicts or issues that arise


Engage theTalent Performance & Growth team to deliver learning solutionsfor business unit projects


Interpret and synthesizecomplexor ambiguousinformationclearly and concisely to diverse audiences


Create and maintain a consistent voice for all communication materials


Support business unitleaders to determinebusinessneeds, includingfacilitating meetings, recommendingthe most appropriate channels and organization of those channels, and creating or facilitating collateral development


As necessary, create business unit communications for transformational projects based on the strategy and direction of the enterprise Center of Change team


As necessary, collaboratewith the enterprise Internal Communications team to ensure consistency with corporate brand fundamentals (includingtone and vocabulary), promote enterprise-wide messaging, and share any relevant business unit accomplishments for greater visibility


Collaborate with partners in other Business Performance groups to share best practices




Education/Certifications



Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience; Focus on journalism, communications,ormarketing preferred



Experience/Minimum Requirements



Three (3) to five (5) years of project managementand/or communicationexperience;Extensive experience increating and executing on project orcommunicationplans


Demonstrated ability toexpertlyprioritize, organize and work effectively on multiple complex projects/programs in a deadline-driven environment


Extensive knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and/ordesign software (Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, etc.)



Other Skills/Abilities



Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach


Ability to manage and process multipleworkstreams


Ability to interface effectively with all levels of organization, including senior leaders


Ability to build strongcross-functionalrelationships


Conceptual thinker with ability to navigate ambiguity

Working Conditions:Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.During COVID19 conditions, this role will work remotely to mitigate risk. This positionmayrequire travel when conditions allow.
