Summary

This position is responsible for completing various duties in the mail room/reception area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.


• Answer switchboard and distribute calls as appropriate.


• Greet visitors, applicants and customers at the reception window.


• Sort and distribute mail.


• Operate various pieces of office equipment, i.e. copier, printer, PC, postage machine, fax and folding machine.


• Stuff and mail documents/envelopes.


• Various mail room duties.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently with attention to detail.


• Be able to work part time.


• Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment.


• Ability to respond to stressful situations, co-workers and customers in a professional, courteous manner.


• Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long term and short term deadlines.


• Work effectively in a team environment or independently


• Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.


• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
