Orrick currently has an opening for a full-time Receptionist to join our extraordinary team in the Seattle office.

You will have a meaningful role and will represent our firm every single day to an expansive global community of attorneys and clients. We are looking for someone with the experience and dedication to provide concierge-level support to our visitors, clients and callers. In addition, the position involves a variety of administrative tasks that you will perform in a professional, efficient and thorough manner.

Your Responsibilities:
• You will greet incoming clients and other visitors promptly and efficiently and handle calls in an enthusiastic and professional manner.
• You will schedule a heavy volume of conference room and visitor office reservations through an online booking platform.
• You will assist with catering requests and orders; work with food services staff and monitor the delivery of food and beverage requests.
• You will coordinate with other internal departments to fulfill service and equipment requests for meetings, this may include flip charts, white boards, markers, making copies, sending faxes, etc.
• You will provide basic technical assistance with setting up audio conference calls and will know how to perform basic trouble-shooting for technical issues.
• You will help with special projects, administrative tasks, and provide general information and support as required.
• You will arrange for taxi and car service by our lawyers, visitors and clients.
• You will be responsible for distributing and retrieving visitor card keys and keeping the tracking log updated.
• You will promptly respond to all email and voicemail requests, acknowledging receipt, action and completion.

Your Qualifications:
• A minimum of three years of related work experience in an active business environment.
• Concierge-level front desk experience and strong customer service background required.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Flexibility to work alternate shifts when necessary to accommodate coverage from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, often with no little to no advance notice.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel; technical aptitude.
• Self starter, flexible teammate.
• Able to multi-task and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Pleasant, professional, enthusiastic and attentive to detail.
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
