Registered Nurse2 shift choices:
Shift 1- SU, TH, FR then SU, M, TU- SAT OFF Shift 2 TU W, SA then TH, F, SA - SUN OFF

To provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with state and federal standards.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.Must be CPR Certified.One year of long term care desirable. Experience working with the elderly, handicapped or developmentally disabled adults preferred.

A day in the life of an RN at Westminster consists of :

1. Providing heartfelt caring service to our residents.


2. Followingphysician orders to provide excellent care and care planning.


3. Administering medication, IVs, give shots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures for residents.


4. Responding to all emergencies.


5. Scheduling doctors appointments and coordinating transportation for the residents. Includes scheduling labs and transcribing lab results.


6. Supervising and supporting CNA's and LPNs as Charge Nurse ensure they are providing resident care based on physician orders and defined care plans.
