As the Regulatory Informatics Manager within the Global Regulatory Shared Services Team you will lead a team dedicated to the Enterprise Regulatory function supporting all operating units and regions. You will lead the development and maintenance of business facing reports and drive the data strategy. You will manage report requirements, develop, and implement advanced end user data visualizations in a Power BI cloud environment.

The position location is within the United States.

A Day in the Life

  • Provides direction, leadership, and coaching to team that delivers insights via ad hoc reporting, dashboards, structured analysis or custom apps.
  • Leads creation and execution of strategy to optimize and standardize functional metrics and data display across the enterprise.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and recommend improvements to regulatory processes, data quality, systems tools, and/or policies.
  • Ensures that functional data and reporting meets user needs including the delivery of on-going reporting & analytics of key performance indicators (KPIs) to the GRSS Leadership Team.
  • Lead next generation data strategy for the function.
  • Align with the IT department to implement improvements to the Regulatory Informatics systems.
  • Partner closely, collaborate and build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders such as OU and Regional Regulatory leadership, GRSS Shared functions and IT.
  • Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives.
  • Participates in audits as needed.
  • Sponsors and actively monitors a high-performance management culture where employees have clear performance expectations.

Must Have; Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of data or business analytics or statistics experience,
  • Or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years data or business analytics or statistics experience

Nice to Have
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, data science, or related field
  • 2+ years of leadership experience as demonstrated through direct management and/or mentorship/advisory capacity
  • Prior experience with our primary reporting tools, Power BI, Tableau and/or Spotfire
  • Experience with data warehouses or data lakes
  • Experience with imperfect data and data quality enhancements
  • Ability to communicate data quality concepts in plain, action-oriented language
  • Proven ability to work globally.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment effectively collaborating and building relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, conduct, and manage time to meet deadline
  • Experience with medical device software validation procedures.
  • Quality systems experience.
