Position Summary:

Perform assignments, requiring at least a basic working knowledge of engineering or scientific methods, in such areas as research, design or experimental testing. Responsible for assignments that require the technical knowledge to modify or adapt routine procedures under the direction of a supervisor, to meet special research requirements.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Designing and planning experiments for electronics used in neuroscience
  • Microfabrication in cleanroom setting (knowledge of advanced manufacturing tools)
  • Experimental measurements using electrical engineering knowledge.
  • Detailed writeup and description of experimental results
  • Research specialized topics in bioeletronics and report summary of findings. Performs related duties as required
  • Certification/Skills:



    Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or technical field.



    Physical Requirements:

    Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
    This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.
