Responsibilities for this position include:
1. Sterile technique and mammalian cell culture (murine and human cell lines, human primary immune cells).
2. Basic molecular biology techniques (qPCR, molecular cloning, library preparation for high throughput sequencing).
3. Scientific record keeping and basic data analysis.
4. Prepares laboratory reagents, maintains lab supply stocks. Assists with safety procedures and inspections.
5. Performs complex in vitro experiments with human T cells.
6. Assists with the maintenance and handling of the mouse colony.
7. Maintains laboratory equipment, schedules service calls when needed and monitors the QC of common reagents and materials.

8. Performs analysis of DNA sequences and flow cytometry data

Associate degree in a relevant degree program or relevant equivalent experience and less than one year of professional level research in immunology, microbiology, virology, and/or molecular biology. Computer literate. Must be able to work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
