Job Description:

  • Day to day activities are determined and monitored by end customers and typically include:

  • Maintain Nokia IMS/SDM Products in Customers network.

  • Perform frequent audits of lab nodes and take appropriate actions to ensure all systems/nodes are operational.

  • Support Nokia IMS/SDM product deployments in Customers Lab

  • Testing new Features in Lab, Performing ATP and regression testing for Hotfixes and both firmware and software upgrades.

  • MOP preparation, planning and executing day to day activities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issue in Customers lab environment.

  • Open tickets with the appropriate Nokia CAREs and engineering teams; work with the Nokia personnel on ticket follow up and closure

  • Collect Traces, Logs, and Data from Nokia IMS/SDM equipment in support of testing and issue investigation

  • Work with the appropriate Nokia personnel on all issues related to SW installation, configuration, integration and ATP.

  • Perform OAM tasks/activities in the lab environment per customers requirement.

  • Research and provide Technical Answers to customers questions on Nokia IMS/SDM products.

  • Provide daily and weekly status updates of deliverables, open issues, issues resolved, accomplishments, and challenges

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Strong technical knowledge of One-NDS, NT-HLR, HSS (CMS82000), Provisioning Gateways.

  • Experienced in commissioning, integration and acceptance testing of NT-HLR FE, One-NDS, HSS

  • Practical knowledge of NetAct management functions and system administration for NT HLR.

  • Extensive Knowledge of SS7 Protocols, Sigtran, Radius and IP Networks.

  • Knowledge and experience working on Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems.

  • Knowledge on Scripting, Shell, Perl, Python, etc

  • Troubleshooting skills on IP networking, Unix or Linux.

  • Aware of Nokia Helpdesk processes and tools.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Professional and Results Oriented

  • Strong Technical knowledge of Nokia Cloudband Infrastructure (Cloudband Infrastructure Software and Cloudband Application Manager)

  • Installation Nokia Cloudband Infrastructure (NADCM installation, eSW updates on computes, Cloudband Infrastructure Software (CBIS OR18) and Cloudband Application Manager (CBAM 18-18.5) installation and VNF instantiation.

  • Troubleshooting CBIS and CBAM problems

  • CBAM 18 to CBAM 18.5 upgrade installation

  • CBIS/CBAM integration with Nokia Archive cloud

  • Troubleshooting computes scale-out / scale-in issues

Additional Position Requirements:

A background investigation and drug test is required.
